This document describes how Rief Financial Communications GmbH handles personal data within the scope of its business activities as a PR consultancy.

PREAMBLE

Our function as a service provider in the field of communications consulting as well as for the fulfilment of legal requirements make the storage of personal data necessary. However, it is

not in our interest to hoard data without a reason. Data subjects have the right to contact

the responsible person about any personal data stored by Rief Financial Communications GmbH.

Basically, we distinguish between two areas of application, namely the activity as (a) PR consulting and the (b) corporate management. This distinction runs through the following statements.

1. Type of personal data processed

We process the following personal data: Name, position/title, address, email,

telephone number.

a. PR consulting: We receive the data of media representatives directly from them or we obtain them from published imprints (printed works or internet pages), from their journalistic publications, provided that they contain their e-mail addresses, or from publicly accessible professional directories. Media

representatives are not considered customers or business partners.

b. Company management: We obtain the data of our customers, suppliers and potential business partners from them directly or from their websites.

2. Purposes of personal data processing

a. PR consulting: Media distribution list for sending press releases, recording of interviews (electronic or written). These are expressly not deemed as sales activities.

b. Business management: Minutes of meetings, preparation of estimates, preparation and execution of contracts, preparation of fee invoices, confidentiality agreements.

3. Disclosure of personal data

Personal data may be disclosed to third parties contracted by us, customers and suppliers, including tax consultants, lawyers and IT service providers. The aforementioned parties are obliged to treat such data confidentially.

In addition, data may be passed on to public authorities and bodies.

4. Third countries

As an internationally active company, we work with business partners in numerous countries, and personal data may also be used across national borders if the need arises.

This applies in particular to the provision and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, for which providers from abroad may be chosen.

5 Retention period

Personal data shall be retained for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the respective purposes.

In addition, we shall comply with legally prescribed periods of data retention, which are independent from a continued business relationship.

6. Rights of data subjects

Inquiries regarding the application of the GDPR by Rief Financial Communications GmbH can be addressed to office@riefcom.at. According to the GDPR, data subjects have the right to obtain information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, for example. For the sake of good order, we would like to point out that other legal provisions regarding the management of our company could be in conflict with this.
